Favorite food of the people of Punjab is Sarson ka saag and Makka ki roti. Lassi is their favorite drink. They also use curd, butter, milk, etc., in their food.their dresses are Kurta-Dhoti. Women wear Kurta or Kameez, Salwar, and Chunni.

Punjabis are very fond of festivals and dances. Giddha and Bhangra are eir famous dances. Their main festivals are Lohri and Baisakhi.

The main language of the people here is Punjabi. Some people speak Hindi also. Chandigarh, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Dhariwal etc. are important is of this state. These cities are famous for their business and trade.
