Falaknuma Palace :Falaknuma Palace is one of the very best places of Hyderabad located in India. This page is related to the Hyderabad State, which was later ruled by the Nizams. It is built on 32 acres of land in Falaknuma and is 5 km from Charminar. It was constructed by Nawab Wakar ul Omar, who was the Prime Minister of Hyderabad. Falaknuma means “like the sky” or “the skies of the sky”composition.

This palace was composed by an English craftsman. The cornerstone of its composition was laid on 3 March 1884 by Sir Wycker. He was a grandson of Khudus and a friend of Sir Charles Darwin. It took 9 years to complete this construction. It was completely constructed by Italian stone and it is surrounded by 93,371 square meters area.
History
Falaknuma Palace in 1900 Sir bikers used this Falaknuma place as their own private habitation till they remained with them, later this palace was handed over to the Nizam of Hyderabad around 1897-98. There was so much cost in the construction of the Falaknuma Palace that once Sir Bike realized that he had spent more than his goal. Later, with the cleverness of his intelligent wife, Lady Ullah, he gifted this palace to the Nizam, in return, he got the full amount of money spent on it. Later, Nizam started using this palace as a royal guest house, because it had the view of the whole city.

The service of telephone and electrical systems was started in this Palace by Osler in 1883. According to the figures, switchboards available in this palace are one of the largest switchboards available in India. By the year 2000, it was the private property of the Nizam’s family and was not generally open to the general public. There is also a billiards room in this palace that was designed by Boro and Watts. The table in it is amazing in itself because two such tables were made, one of which is in Buckingham Palace and the other is located here.
The Taj Hotel started renovating this palace in 2000. With the new changes this hotel was opened to the guests in November 2010. Its rooms and walls were made of ornate furniture, Furnished with handmade items and brocade. This palace has 101 sits of food, which is considered as the world’s largest dining hall. There is also a Darbar Hall which is equipped with the application of world-class crafts.
