Swami Vivekananda :Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1863 in Kolkata (Calcutta). His original name was Narendranath Dutt. His father, Viswanath Dutt, was an advocate in the Calcutta High Court.
His mother Bhuvaneshwari Devi After the demise of a father in 1884, Swami Vivekananda had to take responsibility for the family. He also felicitated guests by starving himself in a poor financial condition.

In 1879, at the age of 16, he passed the entrance from Calcutta to graduation and later joined the Brahma Samaj. Inspired by his Guru, he took the initiation of living a charity and was known as Swami Vivekananda.
Swami Vivekananda traveled all over India on foot. In 1893, Chicago went to the Parliament of Religions and remained in America until 1896.
Swami Vivekananda established Ramakrishna Math at Belur on the banks of river Ganga near Calcutta on December 9, 1898. He established the ‘Ramakrishna Mission’. He died on 04 July 1902.
